Maria Goetz and Angel Alanis, Chicago techno couple make their Northern Parallels debut with four original tracks.

Nothing Fancy - starts off the release, 808 shuffles with all the elements of classic Chicago acid sounds.

Gir - Sets the mood with frenetic high hats back by an ominous deep, dark pulsing bass line layered with a Roland TB-303. Gir pays a lot of respect to the late 90's - early 2000's techno sounds.

Rain Delay - Hits with shuffled synth dub vibes propelled by rhythm with nuanced changes that never lose sight of it's core drive.

Liquid Cold Helium - The releases closes with an intro that belies what lays beyond. Moving through moods in thirds, bound by a synth evocative of the sound of a roulette ball knocking around the wheel.
